Harry Winston Timepiece Manufacture
Harry Winston opened the most advanced timepiece manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, the suberbs of Geneve, Switzerland in 2007

Founded in New York in 1932, Harry Winston continues to set the standard for the ultimate in fine jewelry and high-end watchmaking. Throughout the course of his career, Harry Winston owned the world's famous and coveted diamonds. Often purchased as rough stones, in the hands of Harry Winston, these incredible stones were transformed into legendary gems - earning him the nickname, "Kind of Diamonds." Known as the "Jeweler to the Stars," Harry Winston has shared a glamourous part of Hollywood's dazzling history. As the very first jeweler to loan diamonds to an actress for the Academy Awards in 1944, Mr. Winston helped to revolutionize modern-day red carpet glamour.
Harry Winston is only the exceptional with its creativity and audacity.
In 1989, the Harry Winston brand decided to go into watchmaking. Undoubtedly, considering what the watch industry represents in terms of craftsmanship, heritage and expertise. Yet the company accepted the challenge with the credo "remain true to the spirit of the brand." In other words, there would be no compromising on either technical or aesthetic quality. Harry Winston has placed its watchmaking division squarely in the tradition of its legendary jewelry expertise, being synonymous with authentic and rare luxury in the design and manufacture of complicated and gem-set watches. In 1989, Harry Winston introduced its first timepiece, "Signature" the high-jewelry watch, and the complicated mechanical watch equipped with a perpetual calendar. Within the past two decades, Harry Winston has created various timepieces equipped with complication such as tourbillon and minute repeater, and it established itself as a leading timepiece brand. Of all collection, one in particular continues to defy expectations, creating annual anticipation within the world of Haute Horlogerie: The Opus series. Launched in 2001, Opus is the story of partnerships between the brand and the most talented independent watchmakers, and it accomplishes an ultimate dream in watchmaking. Harry Winston's complicated and high-jewelry timepieces, which only Harry Winston can create, are world's famous masterpiece than any other.
